How to re-enable Windows features like folder option, task manager, etc disabled by viruses?
After removing certain viruses from our Windows PC, sometimes we will face a new problem. For example, if we trying to access Task Manager from CTRL+ALT+DEL or CTRL + Shift + Esc, we will get an error message saying “Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator” or when trying to open regidit (Windows registry editor) we will get similar message. Most probably these problems are of virus activities. Here is a free tool that can bring back your disabled folder options, task manager, regedit(windows registry editor), search, run , show hidden files and folders, etc options.
Features like Folder option, task manager and regedit are mostly and commonly disabled by viruses. Unfortunately, anti-virus software doesn’t really care about these restrictions and do nothing to re-enable them.
RegainPower is an open source program that could re-enable above mentioned problems. It is very small in size (743Kb) and USB portable, just run and select features and click OK. (Some features requires restarting the system)
