Monitor Energy Saver
Does it really save energy if you turn off your computer monitor when not in use? The simple answer is yes. Screen-saver doesn't do anything to cut energy use. Actually it uses more energy than not using one. Monitor Energy Saver (MonitorES) is a little, portable tool that helps to turn off monitor and active screen saver automatically when user locks Laptop or work station or with hotkey (ctrl + F2 to just turn off display). Moreover, it also helps to pause all media players like Windows Media player, Winamp, AIMP, etc and set away status message in IM Messenger (Google Talks) and restore it when you back Download MonitorES (84Kb)
