Disable JavaScript in Foxit PDF reader to prevent any possible threats
Security issues in Adobe Reader is not a new thing. A recent example is 0-day exploit in Adobe Reader & Acrobat. Security experts say the flaw lies in the way Adobe's PDF reader & Acrobat executes JavaScript code.
Adobe suggested a few workarounds and encouraged to incorporate them by disabling JavaScript in Adobe PDF Reader/Acrobat.
Because of such security issues and other reasons many people prefer Foxit Reader as an alternative to Adobe reader. Although Foxit Reader is not affected as Adobe Reader , there is every chance to use this alternative by cyber criminal as a gateway to the system.
As suggested by Adobe, users should disable JavaScript in Foxit Reader also. To do that, as in Adobe Reader, select Edit - Preferences

Then pick the JavaScript category. There, users can uncheck the "Enable JavaScript Action" choice.

Hope this will help you prevent any possible threats via Foxit Reader
