Settemaxer is a freeware, simple utility for Windows 7, which helps to optimize and solve some issues in some fields of the system.

Of course you can do most of the tweaking manually, but navigating through Windows registry and services are time consuming and bit complicated especially for beginners.

With this tool you can optimize the system with a single click or can be restore the settings if anything went wrong. Following are the few things that this tool can be done.

- Optimize Application Response Timeout: Shorten Application Hung Timeout when an application is not responding in order to restart or end it faster.
- Optimize Menu Show Delay: Sets delay value of menus to 0 in order to have an os navigation faster.
- Disable Remote Registry Access: It can be useful to protect the registry disabling of remote access if it is not needed to use. Full details and download here.
