Thunderbird Environment Backup Extension (TEBE) is a nifty tool that allows you to instantly backup all your installed thunderbird Extensions along with themes, address book, message folders, profiles and more.

This new release (beta) for Thunderbird 3.0b1 -3.1 comes with few bug fixes, and allows automatic or manual Backup. You can schedule the backups on daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Moreover it allows uploading the backups to your Box.net account which may help you to synchronize Thunderbird in your Home or Office.

You can see this type of refresh/redirect especially in media sites. This is some times annoying or can be used for malicious purposes by redirecting you to a malicious site. If you don’t like this feature, you can disable this in your browser. Here is how to disable this in Internet Explore/Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Internet Explorer: Go to Tools - Internet options - Security tab - Custom Level button - Miscellaneous category - set "Allow Meta refresh" to Disable. Firefox: Go to Tools - Options - Advanced - General - Accessibility and tick the option next to ‘Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page’. Alternatively you can use extension RefreshBlocker . Opera: Go to Preferences - Advanced - Network and uncheck "Enable automatic redirection".
