Locate Your Stolen Laptop with Quick Heal Free TrackMyLaptop

TrackMyLaptop is a free service from Quick Heal Technologies, which helps users to track down their stolen or misplaced Laptops. The service is available for free to all laptop users in India. Quick Heal Technologies is a leading Internet Security tools and anti-virus provider in India.

The TrackMyLaptop service is available for both Quick Heal and no Quick Heal users. Non Quick Heal users need to know their laptop’s MAC address to track their laptop.

To find MAC address (For Windows 7), go to Control Panel, then click Network and Sharing Center and then click View Status. The Local Area Connection Status dialog box opens. Click Details button. The value corresponding to Physical Address is the MAC ID of the system.

To track your stolen or misplaced laptop:

1. If you are Quick Heal anti-virus or Internet Security user, just register laptop tracker service by providing the Quick Heal product key and other details as required. Quick Heal users do not have to manually provide the MAC ID as it will be automatically obtained and stored in the database during Quick Heal activation.

2. If you are not a Quick Heal user and have MAC ID of your stolen or lost laptop with you, enter this page and fill-in the required details and click Register Now button.

Quick Heal will regularly search through its database and will notify you in case it finds a match. You’ll receive the IP address and the corresponding city where laptop is being used. The Law Enforcement Authority can utilize this information and contact the concerned Service Providers to track the stolen laptop.
