Mac OS X Lion’s LaunchPad Feature For Windows 7

Launchpad is a new feature for Apple’s new operating system Mac OS X Lion that replaces the traditional way of searching for apps in applications folder. Launchpad gives you instant access to all your apps. You can enable similar feature to your Windows 7 (and Vista also) with a free tool JumpPad.

JumpPad is a tiny, portable tool (no installation needed) that allows you to access Start menu items and programs from your ‘home screen’ – no need to hunting through the start menu and program folders to access an app.

It is quite simple to use. Just run the JumpPad. Exe file, it will list all items on start menu (by default) and will activate when you move your mouse pointer to top left hand corner of the desktop.

However, you can choose to select any one of four corners of screen as hotspot from the option menu.

JumpPad can be downloaded (280Kb) free at here.
