Bitdefender, the industry leading Security Company has released a new free application for Facebook users called Bitdefender Safego that lets users to check their privacy levels, identifies personal information that’s visible to strangers and scans users wall, message inbox and comments for malicious links.

The application scans your account and warns if you need to modify your Facebook privacy settings so personal information isn’t exposed to public.

Moreover users will have the ability to warn their friends about infected links in their Facebook accounts. BitDefender safego keeps your Facebook accounts protected even when you are not logged in to Facebook.
