i2OCR is a free online OCR service that allows you to convert scanned document or images into editable word document. Just upload an image file (TIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, PBM, PGM, and PPM) and the server side program will process the file and will send the results back to you, which you can either download, or copy and paste.

i2OCR supports multi-column document and 33 languages. Furthermore the service requires no registration or email and it’s really fast and you can upload a maximum of 10Mb file size at a time.
