A powerful uninstaller for Windows XP and Vista

KUninstall is an easy to use, portable, quick and powerful uninstaller for Windows 200/XP and Vista. This free tool is quite faster than Windows own Add/Remove program and includes many useful features such as scan for leftover registry keys, files and folders to delete, search items with key words, detailed information about a program, locate key in Registry, uninstall running program or desktop icons, quick launch toolbar, taskbar or system tray, etc.

KUninstall is a small (330Kb) and clean software. Just download the program, unzip in a folder and run it. Right click on item list to see detailed information, locate key in Registry or uninstalling the program.

You can type some characters of program name to filter items or select from item list. Click on Finder and drag it the program window or desktop icons, quick launch toolbar, taskbar or system tray you want to uninstall.(via)

Disable automatic Meta refresh/redirect of websites in browser for security reasons[how to]

Generally speaking, Meta refresh is a method used by some websites to instruct a web browser to automatically refresh/redirect the current web page after a given time interval. You can see this type of refresh/redirect especially in media sites. This is some times annoying or can be used for malicious purposes by redirecting you to a malicious site. If you don’t like this feature, you can disable this in your browser. Here is how to disable this in Internet Explore/Chrome, Firefox and Opera.
