Free version of Nero burning software now available for download

Nero is world’s best burning software-from quicker write speeds to support for new formats like Blu-ray to multimedia creation tools for DVD authoring and audio CD compilation, Nero has been one of the most capable applications in its field.

They are continuously evolving to incorporate some of the best technologies and features, while keeping pace with optical drive standards. Nero has released a free version of it's burning software, Nero Essentials, with limited features.

This version of Nero 9.4 contains simply data burning and disc copying features for CDs and DVDs.

However the free version comes bundled with Ask Toolbar (My antivirus program warned me this unnecessary, risky add-in) which you can disable while installing.
