Google bookmarks extension (GBX) for Google Chrome

Google Bookmark Extension (GBX) for Google Chrome lets you synchronize Chrome Bookmarks with other browsers via Google Bookmarks. Even though the newest build of Google Chrome has Bookmark manager, but there is no plug-ins available for synchronize with other browsers.GBX for Chrome is such a plug-in that replaces default Google Chrome Bookmarks with Google Bookmarks (online service).

This Google Bookmarks extension (GBX) for Google Chrome deletes your existing Chrome bookmarks and replaces them with your Google Bookmarks in order to share them across browsers. So you can access your bookmarks from any computer with different browser and from anywhere in the world.

Like any other extensions for Chrome, this extension also requires a recent dev-channel version of Chrome. As the Chrome extension system is still in development stage, there may be bugs and problems, so if you choose to use this extension, you do so at your own risk.

It is highly recommended that you back up your bookmarks before installing as it will delete your existing Chrome bookmarks and replace them with your Google Bookmarks.

Generally speaking, Meta refresh is a method used by some websites to instruct a web browser to automatically refresh/redirect the current web page after a given time interval. Alternatively you can use extension RefreshBlocker . Opera: Go to Preferences - Advanced - Network and uncheck "Enable automatic redirection".
