Nero upgrading problems?

Upgrading Nero can some times be a problem because the program tends to leave behind unnecessary entries in the registry that prevents you from installing a newer version. This a usual occurrence reported with Nero.

In order to install a newer version of Nero, it is recommended that all older versions of Nero and unnecessary installation entries must be thoroughly cleaned from your computer.

Follow the steps described below for a complete removal of Nero:

Download Windows Installer Cleanup Utility from Windows and install it. Run the program, it will lists all software installed in Windows. Search for Nero, select it and choose Remove to uninstall it.

Now download Nero General Cleanup Tool from Nero. Run the tool, it will remove all files and registry entries left behind by Nero. You can now install a newer version of Nero.
