Speed up file copying process in Windows 7, Vista and XP

Do you think that your Windows built-in file copy tool is too slow for copying or moving files to / or from folders, USB device, or hard disk? Then the freeware tool FastCopy will help you.

FastCopy is a nifty utility that can speed up your Windows file copy or move process and you can definitely see an improvement in this process.

There are a few such tools for file copying, but I think FastCopy is much better tool in the freeware category.

FastCopy works on Windows 7, Vista and XP and you can install it on your computer or directly run from a USB drive (Download and extract it, run setup.exe, and install it in an arbitrary directory or copy two files (fastcopy.exe/fastcopy.chm) to USB memory).

There are several option to configure the tool like shell extension (context menu), buffer size, file filtering, etc. It may be bit complicated for a non-tech person, but the default setting is enough for a normal use.

More details and download of FastCopy.
