McAfee FakeAlert Stinger for free download

These days rogue programs are growing at shocking rate. Once installed these programs reports false or exaggerated system security threats on the user’s computer and force to pay for removal of nonexistent malware.

McAfee has developed a new Stinger which is specifically targeting such "FakeAlert" threats being seen in the wild.

Stinger is a free, standalone cleaning utility for removing specific known viruses from your computer.

This new Stinger detects and removes the following "FakeAlert" Variants - Kryptik, AVP Security, Fakespypro, Winwebsec, Antivirus Soft and XPSpy.

As usual, before removing any viruses from your computer, don’t forget to disable system restore point.
