As you type something in the address bar (or Awesome bar), Firefox displays a drop down list of suggestions. By default, this list includes 12 suggested matches. However, you can easily decrease or increase the number of results for your needs.
Type about: config in the address bar and hit Enter. Accept the warning and type browser.urlbar.maxRichResult into the filter box.
Double click the matching entry and replace the value 12 to something (for example, 5 or 20) that you need.
