Unlike Windows’ taskbar, Mac’s dock is more productive and aesthetically excel. The dock allows you instantly access frequently used applications without the hassle of going through the clutter of desktop shortcuts or the slow Start menu as in Windows. If you like to replace your Windows’ taskbar with Mac like dock, here is how you can do that with Winstep’s Nexus.

Nexus is designed to provide users Mac’s dock like fun and exciting experience on their Windows computer. It is a free application (paid version is available with more features) and easy to setup.
Download, unzip, install and launch the Nexus. The dock bar will be displayed on your screen with few items like clock, CPU meter, etc. From the Nexus’s preferences menu (right click on the dock bar and select Preferences) you can customize each and every element.

To add new program or folder in the dock bar, just right click on the dock bar and select ‘Insert new Dock Item’, then select ‘New Item’. From the new item window, click ‘Find Item’ button and choose your program or folder.


To remove an item from the dock, just right click on an item and choose remove from dock option.
