Classic Start 8 Brings Back Traditional Start Menu to Windows 8

As you known by all, the Windows 8 has no traditional start menu and start button. However, users who can’t use Windows without the Start button, there are several alternatives from third parties and I had mentioned several of them in previous posts. Classic Start 8 is a new tool, which adds a traditional style start button to the Windows 8 desktop taskbar.

Classic Start 8 is a free application that brings full start menu functionality to Windows 8 desktop, just like in Windows 7.

It brings back all the familiar features of a traditional start menu into Windows8, including quick access to the search box, control panel, documents, all programs and more!

In addition, it disables the Metro Start Screen and seamlessly integrate to the Windows 8, so it appear and function as an integral part of your desktop taskbar.

Classic Start 8 start can be download from developer’s web site for free.
