GMDesk is an Adobe air based standalone application for running Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Maps, Google reader and Picas web album from your desktop without using your browser.
This freeware tool offers an easy menu as well as keyboard shortcuts to switch between different Google services.
You can also specify what default service (for example Gmail) you want the application to start with. It also supports Google Apps access as well.
In order to run this multi-platform application (Windows, Linux and Mac OSX), you need to be installed Adobe air runtime on your computer.
