Optimize Windows by removing unnecessary files and folders

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

There are several tools for cleaning and optimizing Windows. Here is a tiny (92Kb only) tool that lets you delete junk files, thumbnail cache, empty folders, temporary files, cookies, surfing history, and the like form your PC.

The freeware tool called Red Button can also remove Windows own programs like calculator, games, media player, messenger, wallpapers, screensavers, etc, that are normally can not remove.

It can disable services like system restore, remote registry service, search assistant, etc and speed up Windows.

The program is quite simple to use. Just download (only 92Kb), unzip and install it. Run the program, click on 'Features'. Select an operation and click OK, then press ‘Start’ button to perform the task.

The program is clean and can be downloaded from program’s home page.
