Remove Google Chrome Installation ID
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Each Google Chrome installation contains a unique ID that allows identifying its user. If you want to browse ‘anonymously’ with Chrome browser you need to remove this id.
Google doesn't make it an easy job to remove this ID. Here is a freeware tool called UnChrome which helps you with this task.
It replaces your unique ID with Null values so that your browser can no longer be identified. The functionality of Google Chrome is not affected by this. You only need to apply UnChrome once.
Download UnChrome from here.
