Opera 11 (Alpha) Released, Now Supports Extensions

Opera is really an exciting browser which gives fastest browsing experience, even on a slow connection, but a general criticism of Opera is the lack of extensions, like the ones that make Firefox and Google Chrome more useful or meaningful. But the new Opera 11has changed this and now you can add extensions.

Extensions allow you to easily add new functionality to your Opera browser. A selection of add-ons can be chosen from Opera’s new extensions catalog. With Opera 11 alpha running, you can install extensions by just clicking on them.

A small install window will appear. Click “Install”, and you are done. If you have an extension file stored on your computer, it can also be installed by dragging and dropping it into the Opera window.
