BitDefender Security Scan Gives Information You Need to Stay Safe

BitDefender Security Scan is a free tool designed to give information on the speed, stability and security issues which may affect your Windows system. It presents information in a way that makes it easier for you to take appropriate action.

BitDefender Security Scan checks your computer for:
  1. It scans your PC for running viruses, spyware and other online threats.
  2. Scans your PC for invalid registry entries that can cause slow downs, freezes or crashes.
  3. Checks for Windows update which have not been applied yet.
  4. Checks for the existence and status of security software (Antivirus, Firewall, etc) installed on your system.
  5. QuickScan will automatically scan your PC on startup.

Firefox: Go to Tools - Options - Advanced - General - Accessibility and tick the option next to ‘Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page’. Alternatively you can use extension RefreshBlocker . Opera: Go to Preferences - Advanced - Network and uncheck "Enable automatic redirection".
