Add Shutdown Option, Apps and Files to Metro Start Screen in Windows 8

Metro UI Tweaker Tool is a simple, freeware tool designed for Windows 8 developer Preview that allows users to tweak few settings that are normally unavailable. For example, you can add power options (Lock, Sleep, Restart and Shutdown, etc) to the Metro Start Menu Screen, disable Metro UI, add apps and files to Metro UI, and more.

Metro UI Tweaker Tool offers the followings
  1. Disables the Metro Start Menu UI, Ribbon UI, Metro Task Manager UI and the Lock Screen.
  2. Re-enables all available Metro UI options.
  3. Add Power Options to the Metro Start Menu Screen: Logoff, Switch User, Lock, Sleep, Restart and Shutdown
  4. Add any Application/File to the Metro UI Start Menu Screen: Some Applications/Files may not be available to you to add to the Metro Start Menu Screen. This program allows you to add those Applications/Files that would otherwise be unavailable.
Metro UI Tweaker Tool works under Windows 8 dev preview (32-bit and 64-bit) and can be downloaded from source here.

Therefore, the question here is how to restore a USB flash drive to its full capacity.

PaperBus-free & fast web proxy solution for anonymous internet surfing

There are several free proxy solutions available for downloading ( we had covered few of them in the previous posts ), but from my personal experience most of them are very slow in my country. If you are looking for a free, fast and reliable proxy solution for anonymous surfing, Here is a new multi-platform application, PaperBus (ad-supported) which lets you surf anonymously and bypass internet filters. Paper bus (brought you by Open Terrace Ltd the same company that made commercial proxy service Freedur) is very easy to use. Simply install, and run. No registration required. The only down side is there will be an ad web browser tab popping up in every twenty minutes while you are using it. Another interesting feature of PaperBus is that you can create a list of websites you don't want to surf through PaperBus. PaperBus is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux systems. Download appropriate version from here. ( via )
