Chrome Like Tabbed Interface For Windows Explorer

The advantage of tabbed browsing is that it enables users to open multiple browser windows within one window, which is more convenient to use from, also looks neat and clear. Here is how to implement the same tabbed interface to Windows Explorer with a free tool called Clover. It makes your desktop clutter free, enables switch between different tabs (window) instantly with shortcut keys and more.

Clover is a little tool for Windows that adds Chrome like tabbed interface to Windows Explorer. Each tab displays the icon and title of the window it's attached to. You can switch between different windows very easily by just using keyboard shortcut or mouse click.

Moreover, as in Chrome browser you can re arrange the tabs by dragging and dropping. Clover requires no configuration. Just install it and it’ll seamlessly integrate with the system. In addition, it has a very low memory footprint.

To speed up your work, you can use shortcut keys Ctrl + T to open a tab, Ctrl + W to close a tab and Ctrl + Tab to switch between tabs.

Important: Antivirus programs like CalmAV detect it as virus, but that is false positive (Details here). However, do check it with your Antivirus program before installing the program.

Clover can be downloaded from here. Clover home page (translated).
