In some situation, for instance when re-installing your operating system, you may be wanted to back up all settings and messages from your email client (e.g. Thunderbird) to restore all its previous settings.

Thunderbird Backup utility is an easy to use, powerful backup tool which will backup all your emails and settings from Thunderbird. This tool can backup all profiles from current user.

Using this program is simple. Download the software from the official website (freeware, 1.2Mb) and install it. Run it and wait until the searching finishes (below 1 minute).

Check the item shown on main window, and then click on ‘Backup” button. A new window popping up, if necessary you add a file name here, clicks on ‘Start backup’, button, that’s all.

To restore it, after a fresh installation of Thunderbird, Click on ‘Restore Wizard’ button and follow the simple instructions.
