QuickScan: A new service from BitDefender

QuickScan is a new service from BitDefender (beta) that combines intelligent local scanning and in-the-cloud scanning to create an advanced online tool which detects running malware very fast, usually in less than 30 seconds. With the award wining BitDefender anti-malware technology it can detect hidden threats (rootkits) and keyloggers from your computer and is quite useful when you want to find out quickly if your computer is infected. For instance, you can use this service before logging into any sensitive online account, before shopping or banking or before starting online games.

Unlike other online virus scanners, with BitDefender Quickscan there is nothing to install or update (scanner requires the download of a small ActiveX control) and work with Internet Explorer and Firefox (To run in Firefox you need to install IE Tab)
