How to remove broken or corrupted installation of Windows Live Messenger?

Previously we covered an article about removing Windows Live Messenger or MSN Messenger completely from a PC. Here is another, simple way to remove Windows Live Messenger.

Partially installed or uninstalled Windows Live Messenger may causes trouble to you. For example, when you want to reinstall, it might say that it is already installed, while actually it is not.

Moreover, you can not remove it in the normal way, because WLM might not even appear in the list of Add/Remove program.

So you need a special tool to remove corrupted or broken installation of Windows Live Messenger (WLM). Windows Live Messenger Uninstaller is such a tool. It removes broken WLM installation from your computer.

It really uses only the windows installer (msiexec.exe) to do the job combined with the CLSID of the installation that uniquely identifies the WLM version.

You can download Windows Live Messenger Uninstaller at source.
