IOBit Advanced Uninstaller

Advanced Uninstaller from IOBit is a portable and powerful uninstaller for Windows that helps you when your built-in Windows Add /Remove Programs fails (it is true) to uninstall an application.

It is a freeware and no installation is required. So it will not screw your system again.


Advanced Uninstaller has three modes – standard, advanced and forced mode. Standard mode uses the software built-in uninstaller to perform a normal uninstall work.

Disable automatic Meta refresh/redirect of websites in browser for security reasons[how to]

Generally speaking, Meta refresh is a method used by some websites to instruct a web browser to automatically refresh/redirect the current web page after a given time interval. You can see this type of refresh/redirect especially in media sites. This is some times annoying or can be used for malicious purposes by redirecting you to a malicious site.
