Lavasoft’s Rogue Gallery to Identify and Avoid Rogue Applications

The internet is flooded with lots of rogue applications, which are available in the form of security software, registry editors, etc. Unfortunately, many computer or internet users are still ignorant about such illegitimate software. They often download and install such ‘scareware’ and create security as well as financial threat to them. But, how do you identify the rogue?

To help you Lavasoft has started a Rogue Gallery that provides a comprehensive database of current rogue security applications and gives you the ability to clearly see what programs are considered rogue – and avoid them.

Navigate the Rogue Gallery by displaying the latest threats or by searching for specific programs, listed in alphabetical order. Use the "Submit a Rogue" link to quickly and easily send any suspicious programs directly to Malware Labs to be analyzed.
