GreenCloud - Eco-Friendly Printer Driver And PDF Converter

GreenCloud is an eco-friendly PDF and printer driver software that lets you stop wasting paper, ink and toner by using a smart ink and page saving technique. The application skips unwanted pages, lets you choose what parts of a webpage or document to print, scale down pages to fit more pages on each sheet of paper and print in black and white or dark gray to reduce ink and paper usage.

You can also save a document or webpage to PDF and send the file to Dropbox, Google Docs or you can email it. Using GreenCloud Printer is very easy.

Below is a basic tutorial on how to use it.

Download and install GreenCloud Printer (free for personal use) and it will be your default printer now. To print a document or webpage (or convert it to PDF), just use Ctrl + P shortcut keys.

Now, GreenCloud previews your print job.You can remove any page by clicking the red “X” icon shown at upper right corner of each page. The pages in red will not print.


You can group 2 or 4 pages into one by clicking the page option which will saves paper usage.

Now choose an ink saving option (high, medium and none) from the left pane. GreenCloud will detect the colored text and replace it with grey to save ink. Choose Medium option to meet both the world. Finally click the Print button.
