Opera has a built-in feature to block particular images from loading. If you want to block images from a particular site on a whole then you can simply specify the address of the site. This can help you safely visit sites that has controversial or obscure images that you would rather not load.

The add-on ImgLikeOpera lets you have the same feature in Firefox browser. It allows load only the images that you want in Firefox browser. This extension is very useful for non broadband users.

The addon has the following features:

  • Placeholders for blocked images
  • (re)load image from context menu or Ctrl+right mouse click;
  • forced expiration time (5 minutes - 3 months);
  • Policies for tabs: don’t load images, load cached images only, load images for the originating Web site only and load all images.
  • Filters for web addresses.
