we can convert and use DOCX to DOC from the same platform and can keep to use it in earlier version.. just save as the file to doc.

the above program is useful only when we have to handle a .docx file in a system using earlier version of ms word. In office 2007 we can covert the file from .docx to .doc by just opening the file and using the save as command - under 'save as type' - and carry the same for using in system having earlier version of ms office.
