In Windows Vista you can see a preview of open programs as a thumbnail when mouse over the tab bar. You can also have this useful, Vista pre built feature in Windows XP also. For that, you need to download a small application (400Kb) called Vista Tool Tip . After download, unzip the program in a separate folder and run the exe file (no installation required) Then click on ‘Thumbnail’ tab and adjust the thumbnail preview size.
